1. What Cookies Are

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. They let a site keep you signed in, remember choices such as your cookie preferences, and understand how the site is used.

This policy also covers similar technologies such as local storage and pixels, because they serve the same purposes in the same way.

2. How We Use Cookies

We group the cookies we use by purpose:

  • Strictly necessary: sign-in, session security and keeping you signed in. These keep the Service secure and cannot be switched off, because the Service does not work without them.
  • Functionality: remembering choices such as your cookie preferences, so we do not ask you again on every page.
  • Analytics: understanding which pages are used and where visitors come from, so we can improve the Service and write useful content. Analytics are only loaded with your consent.
  • No separate marketing-cookie category is currently offered.

3. Cookies Set on the Service

We keep this list short. The storage mechanisms below are used by KipBiz; cookies set by our payment provider are covered by that provider's own policy.

  • Session and security cookies support sign-in and protect forms. Their lifetime depends on session settings and any remember-me choice; signing out invalidates your authenticated session.
  • A versioned browser local-storage record remembers your necessary and analytics choices and the time you made them for up to 180 days. This is not a record that you read or agreed to the policy. Choices apply to this browser and origin; different KipBiz hosts may ask separately.
  • A referral cookie, only when you arrive through a partner's referral link. It records the partner code for 0 days so the referral is credited correctly. Its lifetime follows the Partner Program attribution setting. It supports referral attribution rather than analytics consent.

4. Analytics

We use a tag manager to load our analytics. The Google Tag Manager analytics container is not loaded until you allow analytics, so choosing "Reject Non-Essential" means no analytics tag is requested from your browser.

5. Managing Your Choices

Your first visit shows a consent panel with three choices: accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies, or manage your preferences. You can change your mind using Cookie Settings in the public footer. Withdrawing analytics consent reloads the page and removes accessible first-party Google Analytics cookies. Previously transmitted data cannot be recalled by this control.

Rejecting non-essential cookies does not reduce your access to the Service. Necessary features, including signing in and using your account, continue to work exactly the same.

6. Browser Controls

You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings, and most browsers offer a per-site way to do it. Blocking necessary cookies will stop you signing in, because the Service relies on them for security.

7. Changes to This Policy

If we add or change a non-essential cookie, we update this policy and ask for your consent again.

8. Contact

Questions about this policy can be sent to the support contact provided in your account.
